West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts could be on the move when the transfer window opens again in January.

The 18-year-old is currently on loan at Walsall but he’s due to return to the Baggies when that deal expires in January.

Roberts has scored five goals for the Saddlers in League One, the highest of any teenager in the top four divisions this season. The Welshman has earned rave reviews whilst on loan at Shrewsbury Town last season and has continued to impress in the West Midlands.

According to the Sun, Roberts is wanted by Rangers while the Birmingham Mail report Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal have shown an interest.

The talented forward has certainly caught the eye but is he someone Leeds United should be considering? The Yorkshire club are in need of another striking option and Roberts could be one who can have an impact now and in the future.

Leeds are having problems up front with Pierre-Michel Lasogga struggling with injuries while Caleb Ekuban and Pawel Cibicki are yet to score in the league despite some fine performances from the latter.

One forward who is now firing at Leeds is Kemar Roofe. He too came from the West Brom academy after working his way and impressing in the lower leagues. His 18 goals in League Two were rewarded with a move to Elland Road in the summer of 2016 and he’s really started to come into his own this season having scored 10 goals.

Both are extremely talented and exciting attackers which would give Leeds a strong attacking core for many seasons to come, if Leeds can beat rivals to his signature with the carrot of first team chances.
