Wolverhampton Wanderers, Southampton and Everton are thought to be closely monitoring the RB Leipzig hitman.

According to a report from the Sun, Wolves, Southampton and Everton are all interested in signing RB Leipzig striker Jean-Kevin Augustin, but assuming that he decides to move to the Premier League, which club should he join?

The 21-year-old is obviously a real talent, and his next move could end up defining his career.

So let’s start with Wolves:

Nuno Espirito Santo is overseeing a wonderfully exciting project at Molineux, and Augustin would surely be tempted into a switch to the Black Country.

Wolves are well renowned for their expansive, free-flowing football, and their direct playing style would play right into the hands of the Frenchman.

He loves to play off the shoulder of the last defender, and possesses blistering pace. This would offer Nuno a totally different threat in the final third, and if the Portuguese is prepared to offer him guaranteed first-team football, a switch to Molineux would be a very wise choice from the young striker.

Southampton:

The Saints are currently in somewhat of a problematic situation, with the threat of relegation looming large over St Mary’s.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s arrival has certainly lifted the mood, however, but Augustin would be wise to avoid a move to the south coast.

The Austrian prefers his side to play patient build-up football – something that would negate the threat that the forward poses.

The same can be said for Everton:

The Toffees play somewhat slow and ponderous football under Marco Silva, and whilst they are an ambitious club with lofty ambitions, the Leipzig ace would still be better of choosing a switch to Wolves.

With Leo Bonatini’s exit from Molineux all but confirmed, Nuno will want another striker brought in this month, and Augustin would fit the bill perfectly for the Portuguese boss.
