Huddersfield Town are yet to make a signing this summer following their promotion to the Premier League after beating Reading in the Championship playoff final.
It will be the first time since 1972 that Huddersfield have played in England’s top flight and manager David Wagner is sure to try and bolster his ranks before the 2017/18 season kicks off.

So should Wagner be looking to the second tier for talent that have not yet been given their chance at the highest level?
The Huddersfield Examiner have reported that the Terriers are among the favourites with the bookmakers to sign Sheffield Wednesday forward Fernando Forestieri.
While they may be no concrete evidence to back this up as yet, it is a potential deal that arguably makes a lot of sense for all parties involved – well except Wednesday, perhaps.

Forestieri has been involved in English football on and off since the summer of 2012 after joining Watford on loan from Udinese, later signing for the Hornets permanently in January 2013.
Yet despite playing 93 times for the Hertfordshire club and 77 times for the Owls to date, the 27-year-old is yet to make a Premier League appearance, leaving Vicarage Road for Hillsborough the summer after Watford were promoted.
Forestieri has been in fine form since then, scoring 27 Championship goals to help Wednesday to successive playoff finishes and while they are yet to return to the top flight themselves, should the Italian be given his chance there by Huddersfield?
