Some Aston Villa fans on social media have been reacting after seeing Conor Hourihane bag another cracking goal for Swansea City.

The midfielder banged in a trademark left-footed free-kick for the Swans, and as you can imagine, this started a bit of a frenzy amongst Villa fans.

Hourihane was sent out on loan in January, and he’s immediately lit up the Championship, scoring four goals in five appearances for Steve Cooper’s promotion-hunting side.

The 30-year-old won’t be too happy after Saturday’s result as the Welsh outfit were spanked 4-1 by Huddersfield Town, but it was a sublime free-kick that caught the eyes of Villa fans.

Inevitably, some Villa fans were calling for him to come back, or they were claiming that he should never have been sent out on loan, and while that is up for debate, we can certainly understand why supporters of the Midlands club were saying such a thing.

Here’s what the Villa Park faithful have been saying on social media…
