Some West Ham fans have been losing their minds on Twitter after it was reported that they’re interested in Patrik Schick.

West Ham in for Schick

According to 90Min, West Ham are keen on Schick and have been watching him closely.

If the Hammers have indeed been watching Schick, they will surely have been impressed by what they’ve seen.

Goals are generally all that matters when you’re a striker, and Schick can boast an incredible tally this term.

He’s netted 16 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances, and you don’t score that many if you’re not a special player.

West Ham fans may also remember his exploits at Euro 2020 where he lit up the tournament for the Czech Republic.

Czech connection

Of course, West Ham aren’t the only team looking at Schick. Arsenal, Spurs and Everton have also been credited with an interest.

However, the Hammers may have an edge in the race due to the Czech contingent at West Ham right now.

Tomas Soucek, Alex Kral and Vladimir Coufal are already at the club, and with Schick being their international teammate, they could play a part in convincing him to come to the London Stadium.
