Everton should look to Hull City’s wantaway star to help bolster their attacking options.
Hull City star Robert Snodgrass’ future at the club is still up in the air, with the club waiting for a potential buyer to meet their £10 million valuation, according to the Guardian.
And he would be an ideal acquisition for Everton this month after they allowed Gerard Deulofeu to join AC Milan on loan, and missed out on one of their prime targets – Memphis Depay.
They are also without Yannick Bolasie for the season after the winger sustained a serious injury earlier on in the campaign, and are now extremely lightweight in forward areas.
Hull City’s Robert Snodgrass celebrates
The 29-year-old winger has quality in abundance, and superb technical ability. He can also play anywhere along the frontline, which could prove to be a fantastic asset for Ronald Koeman, when it comes to tactical flexibility.
He is also a set-piece specialist – something that could be very useful, with Romelu Lukaku leading the line for the Toffees.
The £10 million that is reportedly required to prise him away from the KCOM is loose change in today’s crazy transfer market, and despite his advancing years, it would still represent great value.
Hull City’s Evandro Goebel comes on as a substitute to replace Robert Snodgrass
Snodgrass has been capped 21 times for Scotland, and has always given 100 per cent, wherever he has been.
The only question mark would be whether he has the stamina to keep up with the intense pressing style that Koeman expects of his team for the entirety of the 90 minutes.
He would most certainly be worth taking a chance on, however.
