The midfield is one area where Everton will be looking to add quality players this summer.
Ronald Koeman remains concerned, and has raised the issue about the apparent lack of goal threat from midfield.
Romelu Lukaku has been the club’s top scorer with 24 Premier League goals, but other forward players like Ross Barkley and Kevin Mirallas has scored only four goals each.

In recent weeks, the Toffees have been linked with Dutch midfielder, Davy Klaassen (The Mirror), but they should also consider making a move for another Dutchman, Marco van Ginkel, even if it is on a temporary basis.
The 24-year-old midfielder is contracted with Chelsea till 2019. He has enjoyed a successful loan spell with PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie where he has netted 15 goals in 24 appearances this season.
The Dutch midfielder is set to return to Chelsea at the end of the season, but it is highly unlikely that he would walk straight into the Blues starting lineup. In all probability, Chelsea will allow him to leave again – either on loan or on a permanent move.
Van Ginkel has the talent and age on his side to turn his career into a success, and certainly he is good enough to play for a club like Everton.
