Everton reportedly considered a swoop on Leeds last year. Now Tom Pearce is available for transfer.

A year ago Tom Pearce was a player Leeds United were desperate to cling onto after the young prospect broke into the first team.
Pearce, an England under-21 international, was reportedly considered for transfer by Premier League side Everton, The Sun reported.
Everton once had Pearce on their books, before he left their academy to join Leeds. Now the Toffees have an ideal chance to re-sign him.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report Leeds are willing to listen to offers for Pearce.
This is because Pearce failed to win over Marcelo Bielsa, who replaced him with another young academy talent, Leif Davis.

Leeds ended the season with makeshift solutions at left-back after Barry Douglas’ injury, playing Stuart Dallas and Ezgjan Alioski in the position with Davis also injured.
Quite simply, Pearce is the odd man out, and a saleable asset.
The time is ideal for Everton to bring him back and strengthen their options at left-back.
Everton of course signed Lucas Digne last summer and he has been a big hit. Landing Pearce for a small fee of around £3-4 million could still offer a smart investment for the future.
They are unlikely to find much resistance from Leeds United, who would rather sell 21-year-old Pearce than a first team regular.
