Lazar Markovic will be allowed to leave Liverpool this summer. Should Everton make a move for him?
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Lazar Markovic will be allowed to leave the club this summer.
The Serbian joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2014 for a fee of £20 million, reported by BBC, but failed to live up to the expectations at Anfield, managing loan spells at Fenerbahce, Sporting and Hull City in the last two seasons.
According to reports from The Mirror, Liverpool will be willing to accept an offer around £12 million for Markovic.

Value for money – Markovic is a highly talented player who joined Liverpool with the tag of being one of the most promising young players in Europe.
He showed glimpses of his ability last season on loan at Hull City, and there’s no reason to believe why he can’t replicate that at Everton.
He is only 23, and there will always be a resale value if he turns out to be a disappointment.

Pace and squad depth – Markovic is known for his bursting pace, and he is equally good with his movement and distribution.
Everton are looking at players like Gylfi Sigurdsson, but Markovic would still be a very good addition. He will add quality and depth to the Everton squad.
Versatility – Markovic is a typical modern day forward who is tactically smart to play multiple roles. He usually plays on the right wing, but is capable of playing on the left, as an attacking midfielder behind the striker, and as a lone forward as well.
Given his age, caliber, and the price tag, Everton should make a move for him. It is a risk-free signing, one that could turn into a master stroke.
