Ronald Koeman has shown great faith in Everton’s youngsters since taking charge at Goodison Park.

The Dutch boss has not only called up some of Everton’s most promising academy graduates into his first-team, but he has also proven more than willing to sign unfinished talents.

Everton have brought in the likes of Ademola Lookman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin since Koeman took charge, and both have been given opportunities in their senior squad.

Koeman has also regularly played the likes of Mason Holgate, Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku – who have extremely bright futures at the top of the game.

There appears to be a recruitment drive at Everton, targeted at signing top English talent.

And Koeman has an opportunity to bring in another star of the future this summer, by moving for Chelsea’s Dominic Solanke.

Solanke’s contract at Chelsea is set to expire in the summer, meaning he could be available on a free transfer.

Although Everton would have to pay a compensation fee for the youngster, he could be yet another exciting addition for the Merseyside club.

Solanke is regarded as one of the best up-and-coming prospects in England, and would surely have made a first-team breakthrough by now if he wasn’t at Chelsea.

The Blues have such a wealth of attacking talent, that it is very difficult to break into Antonio Conte’s side.

And Everton could profit from Chelsea’s reluctance to play youngsters, by making a move for Solanke this summer.
