Everton will surely be looking for another striker in the summer.
Burnley’s Andre Gray celebrates scoring their first goal
Reports emanated yesterday suggesting that a whole host of Premier League clubs, including the likes of West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, are interested in signing Burnley striker Andre Gray, according to the Mirror.
There is another Premier League club, however, who would be a better suit for the 25-year-old hitman.
Ronald Koeman’s Everton side have become overly reliant on Romelu Lukaku over the past 18 months, and the signing of another striker will surely be seen as a priority for the Dutchman in the summer, with Ademola Lookman still a long way off being at the required level.
The Clarets man has proven himself to be an efficient finisher at the very highest level, and has scored eight goals in 21 Premier League outings for Sean Dyche’s side so far this term.
And he would be the ideal strike partner for Lukaku, should Koeman wish to play two up front.

He would at the very least provide the Toffees boss with another option, and the ability to play in a different style if he chooses to.
He is quick and extremely unselfish, with a reputation for making tireless runs into the channels, which would unquestionably create more space for Lukaku to operate.
Gray will have just one year left to run on his deal at Turf Moor in the summer, and if he fails to agree terms on a new contract with the Lancashire outfit, Sean Dyche will surely be forced into selling the pacey striker.
And Everton would have the opportunity to gain a real bargain, should they consider entering the race to sign the 25-year-old.
