Romelu Lukaku has dropped a major hint regarding his Everton future, so perhaps the Toffees should consider a move for Andrej Kramaric.

The Daily Mail reports that Romelu Lukaku has dropped a major hint that he will not be playing for Everton next season, with a return to Chelsea thought to be the most probable destination for the Belgian.

Ronald Koeman may have been hoping to hold onto their talisman for another year, and may perhaps still plan to try to, but it could be argued that finding Lukaku’s replacement should now be one of the Dutchman’s main priorities.

One player who perhaps should be on the Toffees’ radar following his excellent season in Germany is a player who may not perhaps initially capture the imagination of the Everton supporters as his only spell in the Premier League was not the most impressive.

Hoffenheim forward Andrej Kramaric endured a difficult time with Leicester City, starting just six league games for the Foxes, with his remaining nine appearances all coming from the bench during a spell where he scored just two league goals.

However, the 25-year-old has enjoyed a stunning campaign in the Bundesliga, demonstrating that he would not only be a tremendous addition to Everton’s attacking ranks, but would also be able to help Koeman’s men in a number of roles.

Kramaric played out wide, in an attacking midfield role and even in central midfield this past season, but still managed to find the back of the net 15 times in the top flight, while also contributing eight assists.

Considering that he was not always deployed in a central striker role, that return is arguably extremely impressive, and would certainly go a long way to filling the void that Lukaku looks set to leave behind this summer if Everton decided to hand the Croatian a second chance in England.
