Ronald Koeman brought Dusan Tadic to the Premier League, so should he now bring him to Everton?

In a surprising turn of events, Southampton winger Dusan Tadic publicly hit out at Claude Puel in the wake of their defeat to Tottenham due to the number of occasions he has been substituted recently (via The Sun). Whether that has any impact on his future at St Mary’s remains to be seen, but if it does, his old boss Ronald Koeman should consider swooping in and bringing him to Everton.
Tadic was Koeman’s first signing when he was appointed by the south coast club in 2014, and under the Dutchman, the wide-man established himself as a very dangerous threat in the final third.
In the two seasons under Koeman, Tadic scored 11 Premier League goals while also contributing 19 assists to help the Saints register two top-half finishes in the top flight.
The 28-year-old has still been impressive this term, but has not quite managed to recreate the previous form. And solely based on his recent comments regarding Puel, it would hardly be a surprise if he was keen on the idea of linking up with Koeman once again if the opportunity came up.

The Toffees could arguably do with a greater number of attacking options next season, especially if they have some European football to look forward to, and Tadic would surely be a sensible addition given that Koeman knows how to get the best out of him.
And if Puel looks at his recent comments and deems that he needs to move him on for the sake of the team morale, it may be possible for Everton to land the Serbian in a very reasonable deal.
