Everton and Newcastle were interested in Joe Bryan in January and with a £10m price-tag should they look at the Bristol City defender again?
Bristol City are bracing themselves for interest from the Premier League in Joe Bryan, with Bristol Live suggesting the left-back could be sold for £10m.
That was the price given for Bryan by Robins owner Steve Lansdown last year and the report says the South West club will be seeking a similar amount this time around.
Fulham are currently leading the chase for the 24-year-old, who is about to enter the final year of his current contract at Ashton Gate and despite being offered numerous opportunities to extend that, is yet to do so.
Who else might be interested?
In January the Mirror reported that both Everton and Newcastle United were considering a move for Bryan as they sought reinforcement on the left side of defence.
Of course neither deal materialised, but both clubs still have the same problem in the position as they did 12 months ago, with the Toffees, for instance, wanting a long term replacement for Leighton Baines.
Newcastle, meanwhile, only have Paul Dummett as a natural option in the role with Massadio Haidara set to be released at the end of this month.
So perhaps the two clubs should consider competing with the Cottagers for a full-back considered among the best in the Championship.
