West Ham are looking to sign Lyon’s Clement Grenier for £1m but at that price should Everton and Newcastle also be in the hunt?
Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt (L) vies with Lyon’s Clement Grenier during a friendly football match.
Manager David Moyes is prepared to offer Grenier a three-year deal if he joins the Hammers and hopes the midfielder will sign despite interest from Internazionale.

The France international has been keen to leave Lyon for some time and spent the latter half of last season on loan at AS Roma as a result.
With Grenier out of contract in the summer the 27-year-old could be available for as little as £1m, so should Everton and Newcastle United also be taking a closer look?
Sam Allardyce, manager of Everton, looks on during the Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion.
The Toffees have been left short in central midfield following the news that James McCarthy faces up to a year on the sidelines – as reported by the Mirror – after suffering a double leg fracture during the weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League.
Improvements are also needed throughout Newcastle’s squad but finances are limited and therefore being able to sign such a talented and experienced player as Grenier for such a relatively low sum could be the perfect solution.
