The Bournemouth loanee has been in impressive form for Rangers lately, but can the Gers tempt him to sign permanently?

Sat third in the Scottish Premiership, an enormous 33 points behind bitter rivals Celtic; Rangers fans haven’t had a massive amount to smile about this season.
Despite a fairly steady season on their return to the top flight, Rangers fans have been put through a torrid time under their now former manager, Mark Warburton, and are potentially facing a rebuilding job in the summer under a new boss.
Knowing they will need to do more to compete with Celtic next season, Rangers are likely to be already drawing up a list of potential transfer targets for the summer. Having utilised the loan system plenty under Mark Warburton, many Rangers fans will be hoping to see the club open their wallets in a few months time to bring in permanent signings.
One player who may well be top of such a list is current loan signing Emerson Hyndman. The American midfielder, who arrived at Ibrox in January on loan from Bournemouth, has been in fine form of late, scoring in Rangers’ recent 3-2 win at home to St Johnstone.

But could the Glasgow giants tempt the American midfielder to Ibrox on a permanent move? The lure of Premier League football with Bournemouth will be a constant temptation for Hyndman, but having fallen behind in the pecking order at the Vitality Stadium, a potential move to one of Scotland’s biggest clubs could well tempt him.
One thing is for certain: if Rangers are going to truly challenge Celtic for the title next season, they need to be attracting players of Hyndman’s quality.
