It looks as though Norwich City are set to let Steven Naismith leave the club in January. The club record signing is struggling to find regular first-team football at the club since he returned from an ankle ligament injury and is being linked with a move back to Scotland.
However, one former manager will undoubtedly have his eye on the situation. David Moyes has a track record of bringing in former players with varying degrees of success.

He clearly likes to sign players he can trust and Naismith was a favourite of his after signing him from Rangers at Goodison Park. In fact, at the time, it was reported by the Daily Mail that Moyes had beaten West Ham and Blackburn Rovers to his signing in 2012.
Now, Moyes could have an opportunity to bring him to West Ham. Naismith is not the star-studded signing West Ham players would want, but he is undoubtedly a hard-working player who can bring plenty of effort and endeavour to the relegation battle.

Moyes got the best out of Naismith during his time at Everton and he could fit in perfectly as an impact player, or just behind the front-man on tricky away days.
He would be a cheap and reliable option to help West Ham in their fight against relegation and one which should be welcomed if Moyes decides to dive into the past yet again.
