Aleksandar Mitrovic of Newcastle United arrives at the stadium prior to the Premier League match against Leicester City.

Mitrovic has made just seven appearances (two of which were starts) in all competitions in 2017/18 to date, scoring two goals.
Alexander Mitrovic of Newcastle United is challenged by Tom Cleverley of Watford during the Premier League match at St. James’ Park.
“I have persistently waited for the chance over the past months and I do not welcome it,” the striker was quoted by the Mirror.
“I’m sorry, after all, I loved Newcastle but it’s time for me to look more myself, to find the best solution for my career.”
Mitrovic also said that staying in the Premier League was probably not going to happen, although could Crystal Palace try and change his mind?
Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson.
The Eagles were linked with a move for the 23-year-old in November by the Sun as they look to add attacking options to their squad.
With Christian Benteke injured, Palace manager Roy Hodgson has been playing Wilfried Zaha out of position as a number nine and although the Ivorian has impressed, another natural option there would probably be useful.
Mitrovic has had issues with discipline since joining Newcastle in the summer of 2015, but also has a keen eye for goal as shown by the six goals he netted in ten games for Serbia during World Cup qualification.
