The Celtic forward has been used sparingly since his return from injury.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has a big decision to make when his side take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League later this month.
Following his return from injury, Moussa Dembele has been used relatively sparingly to date, and he did not even make it off the bench as the Bhoys defeated Anderlecht 3-0 away from home to give themselves a fighting chance of qualification from Group B.

There is still a very long way to go, but while Paris Saint-Germain look set to run away with the group, the uncertainty at Bayern following Carlo Ancelotti’s shock dismissal means Celtic could cause a shock against the Bundesliga giants.
The fact that it is an away clash at the Allianz Arena makes that a lot trickier, but Rodgers may be hard pressed to replace any of the players who so impressed against Anderlecht last month.

Given Dembele’s form for Celtic last season, it would have been impossible to consider the Frenchman being benched prior to his injury. But now, with Leigh Griffiths and his fellow attackers Scott Sinclair and Patrick Roberts doing the business in Belgium, the previously free-scoring Frenchman has the first big challenge of his career.
Dembele could be a deadly weapon for Celtic to unleash off the bench, yet only Rodgers will know what he has planned on 18 October.
