Celtic were linked with a seven-figure move for Jordon Mutch.

Jordon Mutch may still be reflecting on a failed move to Celtic three years ago.
The Mail reported how Celtic were keen to pay £3.5 million, with manager Brendan Rodgers described as a ‘huge admirer’.
Mutch now finds himself without a club after Crystal Palace terminated his contract,Sky Sports reported.
He was not in Palace’s plans and the club released him to help him find a new club ahead of his deal expiring in June.
Mutch, 27, is a central midfielder who could help take the pressure off Scott Brown at Celtic and meet the expectations which flop signing Youssouf Mulumbu has failed to.

On a free transfer, there could be a great deal for Celtic to be done, even bearing in mind Mutch’s recent lack of game time.
Having been willing to pay a substantial fee for Mutch by their standards before, Rodgers has to consider the option of adding the midfielder to his squad while he can.
He has 78 Premier League appearances to his name with Palace and Cardiff, with seven goals and eight assists, spending much of his career in the Championship beforehand.
The Nottingham Post report Mutch is currently on Nottingham Forest’s radar.
