Celtic should renew interest in the Ukraine international this summer if he’s available on loan.

Celtic made a late move to sign Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City last summer, but failed [ABC].
Fast forward 11 months and the Hoops, now under Neil Lennon, should ask the question about bringing him to Parkhead on loan again.
Let’s face it, Celtic might still need a left-back. Yes, they signed Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo this week, but Kieran Tierney is a massive player for the Scots and if he leaves then there’s a lot of pressure on the Belgian.
Lennon could do with having another quality option and Zinchenko, a Premier League champion, definitely fits the bill.
This is a player with a very bright future, but City boss Pep Guardiola has too many non-homegrown players in his Premier League squad [The Mirror].
He needs to let at least one go and, by virtue of the fact that he signed Angelino this week, a left-back, it’s definitely plausible that the Spaniard is open to losing the Ukraine star in some capacity.
Plus, the 22-year-old, on £20,000 per week at Eastlands [Spotrac], would have a friendly face waiting to greet him at Lennoxtown, given that he plays alongside Maryan Shved at international level.
Tierney might end up staying in Glasgow, in which case Zinchenko isn’t needed in the slightest, but if the Scotland international heads for Arsenal or Napoli then it’s definitely worth Lennon asking the question, even if it’s only on loan.
