Celtic might need a new Head of Recruitment in the very near future.

It was reported earlier this year that Celtic’s Head of Recruitment Lee Congerton might be leaving.
The Scottish Sun reported on January 2 that the Celtic man has had an offer from Anderlecht and could leave for Belgium.
It wouldn’t be a huge loss for the Hoops when you consider some of the names that Congerton has brought to Parkhead, such as Marvin Compper, Jack Hendry, Charly Musonda, Jonny Hayes, while Lewis Morgan has it all to do.
In any case, he will need to be replaced if he does move on, and could Sven Mislintat interest the Scottish champions?
Mislintat, who held the same title as Congerton at Arsenal, is widely reported to be leaving the North Londoners after a little over a year in the role [BBC Sport].
This is a man who earned the nickname ‘Diamond Eye’ at Borussia Dortmund [Sky Sports] after scouting and recommending the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Shinji Kagawa and Mats Hummels to Jurgen Klopp.
Klopp built his successful Dortmund teams on the back of Mislintat’s capacity to identify top talent for a very low cost and these skills would make him a massive asset to Celtic, who have only spent more than £5 million once in Brendan Rodgers’s reign in Glasgow.
It must be noted that Bayern are hunting his signature, which is testament to his aptitude, but Celtic should throw their hat in the ring. There’s very little to lose and everything to gain.
