The Stoke City man would be an excellent addition to the Celtic squad this summer.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers faces a busy summer ahead of him at Parkhead, with star man Moussa Dembele’s future at the club far from certain.
Arsenal are the latest club be linked with a big-money swoop for the 21-year-old, according to the Express, and if Celtic are forced into selling the Frenchman, they will obviously have to find an able-bodied replacement.
With this in mind, a useful option for the Glasgow giants could be Stoke City forward Mame Biram Diouf.
The 29-year-old made just 15 Premier League starts for the Potters last season, and with only 12 months remaining in his current deal at the BET365 Stadium, Mark Hughes might just be tempted into selling him on the cheap this summer, rather than losing him for nothing next year.

Diouf, who spent two-and-a-half years with Manchester United earlier on in his career, has impressed for Stoke since moving to the Potteries in the summer of 2014.
Standing at 6ft 1in tall, the Senegalese is useful in the air, and is accomplished at playing the lone striker role. He is also quick along the ground, and his tireless running into the channels creates more space for his teammates.
The 29-year-old undoubtedly has all of the attributes required to be a success in Scotland’s top flight, and would certainly add more potency to the Hoops’ attack.
He has just 12 months remaining on his current deal with Stoke, so he shouldn’t prove to be too costly, and if Rodgers manages to bring him to Parkhead this summer, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Celtic.
