Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing another MK Dons talent, according to a report.

Kieran Trippier of Spurs goes off injued during the pre-season match between Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus at Wembley Stadium on August 5, 2017 in London, England.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing MK Dons starlet Callum Brittain, according to The Daily Mail.

The 19-year-old has caught the eye in League One this season and if rumours are to be believed then Tottenham want to bring him to North London.

Brittain will surely be hoping the rumours are true after Spurs’ last signing from MK Dons turned out to be Dele Alli.

But it seems very unlikely that the right-back would rise to stardom as rapidly as Alli if he were to join Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Unfortunately for Brittain, the Lilywhites are heavily stocked in regards to right-back options.

Pochettino has Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters and Brittain would be firmly behind all three in the pecking order. The other problem is that none of those three are going anywhere soon.

Trippier, Spurs’ first-choice right-back, is contracted to 2022 and Aurier only joined in the summer for £23 million, while 20-year-old Walker-Peters is a major talent.

The Mail adds that Chelsea and Southampton are also interested in the teenager and although Tottenham is the best place to go for most young players at the moment, he would be a million miles from the first team in terms of chances from right-back and you wonder if he should pass on the move.
