The Nottingham Forest man could be a useful summer addition to the Burnley squad.

Clarets boss Sean Dyche worked miracles once again at Turf Moor last season, guiding his side to a 16th placed finish, on a far inferior budget than the rest of the league.
He faces a busy couple of months ahead of him, however, and will need to make some smart additions, if his side are to remain in the top flight for another year.
One particular area of concern for Dyche will be his forward department, after their measly return of just 39 goals scored in the Premier League last term, and Andre Gray continually being linked with an exit from the club.

With this in mind, the Lancashire outfit should consider a move for Nottingham Forest hitman Britt Assombalonga, who has been linked with a move to various clubs, including Middlesbrough (Sky Sports).
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony recently tweeted that he believes the powerful forward is worth £15 million, and whilst that would be a lot of money for a club like Burnley to lay out on a player, in today’s inflated transfer market, it would actually represent fantastic value.
He moved to the City Ground from the Posh in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be in the region of £5.5 million, and has gone on to score 30 goals in 65 Championship outings for the east Midlands outfit.

Assombalonga is incredibly powerful, and clinical when presented with a goalscoring opportunity, and whilst the step up to the Premier League would present obvious challenges, he has the kind of talent and attributes required to be a success in the top flight.
The Forest man would offer Dyche an entirely different option in the final third, and his presence in the Clarets starting line-up would provide them with more of a physical edge up front.
He is under contract with Forest until 2021, however, so he will not come cheap, but if Dyche manages to convince the Burnley board to part with the cash, it could turn out to be quite the coup in the long-term.
