The Spaniard would be an excellent signing for Newcastle United.
Magpies boss Rafa Benitez is rumoured to be desperately searching for reinforcements this summer, in an attempt to guide his side to a successful Premier League campaign.
The Spaniard will surely be looking to improve upon the creative side of his team’s play, and the addition of a technically gifted midfielder will surely feature highly on his agenda this summer.
With this in mind, Newcastle should consider a move for Sevilla star Pablo Sarabia, who enjoyed an incredibly productive campaign in La Liga last term.
Could Rafa bring Sarabia to St James’ Park this summer?
The diminutive Spaniard chipped in with 11 goals and nine assists in 45 outings for his club last season, with 17 of those appearances coming from the substitutes bench.
The 25-year-old is as versatile as they come – something that would surely prove to be hugely attractive to Rafa, and can play anywhere along the midfield, as well as in more advanced roles, including both right and left wing and the number 10 slot.
Standing at just 5ft 9in tall, Sarabia possesses an impressive low centre of gravity, and his playing style could be compared to Jack Wilshere’s.
The Spaniard is left-footed, which would add excellent balance to the Magpies’ engine room, and his creativity combined with the exceptional vision that he possesses would surely prove to be a massive asset to the Toon.
He is still under contract with Sevilla for another three years, however, so the Newcastle board would have to dig deep to get their man.
With the potential benefits that Sarabia could bring to St James’ Park though, Benitez should not hesitate to explore the possibility of bringing him to the north-east.
