Newcastle United fans want Wylan Cyprien signed, after reports claiming that his asking price has dropped to £8million.
L’Equipe suggest that Newcastle have been alerted to Cyprien’s availability, as Nice are looking to cash in on the midfielder.
And Newcastle supporters now appear to believe that Cyprien could be a potential bargain buy for their side this summer.
If Cyprien was to arrive at Newcastle he could offer them further quality and energy in central midfield.
The 25-year-old has been one of the standout players in Ligue 1 over a number of seasons now, and at his current price he looks like a great option.
Newcastle are already fairly well stocked in central midfield, with Jeff Hendrick joining the likes of Isaac Hayden and Jonjo Shelvey earlier this summer.
But Cyprien would arguably be an upgrade on the Magpies’ current options, and may well walk into Steve Bruce’s starting line-up if he was to arrive at St. James’ Park.
