Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Raphinha being among the players nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month for February.
As announced on Leeds’s official Twitter page today, Raphinha is one of eight players who are up for the prestigious award.
Leicester City star Harvey Barnes, Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes and Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Ruben Neves are among those who are in the running for the award.
Raphinha was brilliant for Leeds last month. The 24-year-old Brazilian scored against Everton at Elland Road, was superb for the Whites in their 2-0 win against Crystal Palace, provided an assist against Arsenal and found the back of the net against Southampton.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old winger has made 18 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds so far this season, scoring five goals and providing five assists in the process.
