Arsenal starlet Krystian Bielik spent some of this season on loan at Birmingham City, but perhaps Aston Villa should now look to make a move.

A recent report from the Birmingham Mail shed light on Steve Bruce’s positive relationship with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, and thus, suggested that the Gunners may be a club he turns to for potential loan deals as he looks to make the most out of what appears set to be a very small budget this summer for Aston Villa.

One Arsenal starlet who should be on the Villans’ radar in the coming months is a highly talented teenager, but is also a player that would have to do a lot to win over the Villa fans: Krystian Bielik.

Bielik is no stranger to the Championship having spent the latter part of the season on loan with Villa’s bitter rivals Birmingham City. But despite the links to St Andrew’s, Villa would surely be making a mistake not thinking about trying to bring him in this summer.

Bruce’s budget arguably means that if the right player comes along, Villa simply have to do everything they can to bring him in as they have a much smaller pool of players to pick from than they did last year.

And Bielik surely has the potential to be the right kind of player for the Villans.

Not only is the Poland youth international a promising central defender, but he can also push forward slightly and play the holding midfield role.

And while it was generally a disappointing season for Birmingham, Bielik showed plenty of promise when given a chance, so should surely be able to take his game to the next level if given the chance to leave the Emirates on loan once again.

Villa are not far off having one of the best starting XI’s in the entire division, so adding players like Bielik – who boast a huge amount of potential and will not hurt the transfer budget by coming in – to provide further depth could be the difference between another unspectacular campaign and a promotion challenge.
