The winger is not wanted at Manchester United.

Aston Villa’s results have started to improve now they are under the management of Steve Bruce. But January is just around the corner and the side will need to make some improvements to the squad if they are to continue rising the league table.

One area where they appear weak is out wide.

So should they make a move for former player Ashley Young?

It would be an ambitious move from Villa, but they are a team with high hopes of heading back to the Premier League.

Young left Villa after a successful four-year spell at the club, joining Manchester United in 2011.

But he has been cast aside by United boss Jose Mourinho and has been linked with a move away from the club.

He would be an ambitious target and one who would undoubtedly improve the Aston Villa team. He can play from either wing and his crossing ability would undoubtedly be welcomed by Jonathan Kodjia and co in attack.

Villa fans know what Young can bring to a team and he is the sort of player who could make the difference between getting close to promotion, or making it back to the Premier League.
