Villa need to replace the loss of Yannick Bolasie, who has returned to Everton.

Yannick Bolasie made the surprise decision to return to Premier League side Everton on Monday night despite impressing during the first half of the season at Aston Villa – and Dean Smith needs a replacement sharpish.
The 29-year-old decided to cancel the loan himself, sending an email to the Villa hierarchy over the weekend. The move to terminate the DR Congo international’s loan deal was confirmed on Monday.
Former Crystal Palace star Bolasie had been in decent form for Villa, scoring two goals and creating five for the Midlands outfit, but only managed nine starts – with Anwar El Ghazi, Albert Adomah and Jonathan Kodjia providing competition.
Now, Villa have to replace the loss of Bolasie, and their attention should be drawn straight to Tottenham Hotspur for transfer-listed speed machine Georges-Kevin N’Koudou.
The Telegraph claim Spurs are willing to sell the 23-year-old for a fee of £10million, despite the France youth international only managing two appearances for the north Londoners this season.
The second of those came on Sunday, as he came off the bench late on against Fulham to provide an inch-perfect cross for Harry Winks to score an excellent header and earn an injury-time win over Claudio Ranieri’s side.

The report says Spurs want to sell the former Marseille winger, but Villa could tempt Spurs into a loan-to-buy deal that would see N’Koudou join on loan until the end of the season and include a permanent clause.
Though he has somewhat flopped at Spurs, N’Koudou has hardly been given a chance to get a run of games together -hardly his fault when your competition is Son Heung-min, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Lucas Moura and Erik Lamela.
But his speed, eye for goal and ability to whip a cross into the box is perfect for Smith’s attacking Villa side. Landing the Spurs man on loan with a view to making it permanent would be excellent Villa business.
