Arsenal could salvage the worrying Alexis Sanchez situation by swapping him for Manchester United’s Anthony Martial.
Alexis Sanchez
Gunners ace Alexis Sanchez looks almost certain to leave the Emirates next summer for nothing, as he continues to run down his contract with the north London giants.
Losing the Chilean on a free transfer would be a bitter pill to swallow for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans, especially if he ends up at one of their Premier League rivals.
A player of the 28-year-old’s calibre would arguably be worth around £100 million in today’s current market, so Wenger must explore ways in which to achieve some kind of value out of Sanchez, if and when he does leave the Gunners.
Anthony Martial
One potential option that the Frenchman should consider is offering the former Barcelona man to Manchester United in January as part of a swap deal for Anthony Martial, even if Arsenal have to sweeten the deal with a cash figure.
The 21-year-old United forward has incredible potential, and could very well become one of Europe’s best players, if he continues to improve and develop, but he certainly isn’t one of Jose Mourinho’s most favoured players, having made just one Premier League start so far this term.

And the Portuguese might very well be tempted to part company with the former Monaco man, if he was offered Sanchez’s services in return during the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Arsenal fans would surely be happy with the prospect of Martial arriving at the Emirates, what with their star man set to leave the club for nothing in nine months time anyway.
And if a swap deal involving Sanchez and Martial was completed, it could have huge ramifications on the outcome of the Premier League title race.
