Adrian is facing competition from Manchester City-owned Joe Hart at West Ham United this season.

Joe Hart’s recent poor performances may well have convinced West Ham United manager David Moyes to snub him for Adrian for the time being, as reported by The Times, but the Spanish goalkeeper should seriously consider leaving the London club in the January transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, West Ham want the 30-year-old to sign a new contract, and while that is very encouraging, it should not fool the Spaniard.

The Hammers signed Joe Hart on a season-long loan deal Manchester City in the summer transfer window because they did not think that Adrian was good enough to be the first-choice goalkeeper at the London Stadium.
Hart is an average goalkeeper, and his performances for the London club have proved that.

Adrian may not be exactly great between the posts, but the fact that he was not been shown much faith after indifferent performances last season and was – and probably still is – essentially the second choice should make him think long and hard about his future.
Adrian has proved himself in the Premier League, and while the former Real Betis star may not be good enough for Manchester City or Liverpool, he can certainly do a decent job for clubs such as Newcastle United and Crystal Palace.
