West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in frustration after reading what the Evening Standard have written about the club’s transfer business.

What’s the story?

Well, according to the Evening Standard, club sources don’t expect any new arrivals until after EURO 2020 ends on July 11th.

David Moyes is currently working as a Technical Advisor for UEFA at EURO 2020.

The Evening Standard do not blame his work for UEFA as reason for the delay in new arrivals.

It is said that EURO 2020 in general has slowed West Ham’s business down, along with the difficulties caused by COVID-19.

Understandably, the West Ham fans on Twitter are furious after hearing what club sources have been saying.

After finishing sixth, West Ham will partake in the Europa League next season.

Now, we all know how demanding that competition can be, with those involved forced to play games on Thursday, as well as at the weekend.

As a result, you need a big squad to be able to deal with such a congested fixture list, something that the Hammers don’t have.
