Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Andre Villas-Boas comments on Daniel Levy.
As Spurs search for a new manager, one man who used to stand in their dugout had some strong words to say about Daniel Levy.
The Portuguese told the Athletic that he ‘didn’t have the best’ of relationships with Levy and at one point there was ‘bad, bad animosity’ between the two.
If Villas-Boas made these comments when Spurs were flying high under Mauricio Pochettino many years ago then he probably would have got a different response.
But with Spurs in a situation where they have been searching for over two months for a new manager then Villas-Boas’ comments just makes matters worse for Levy.
Some Spurs fans feel the true side of the under-fire chairman is now coming out and others suggested why he cannot be fired.
After a season of decline, Tottenham really are in the mud because those in charge aren’t exactly laying down a platform that can get the club out of their current mess.
At this stage, Villas-Boas, who left Marseille in January, is probably closer than most to get the Spurs job because it seems as though Levy has gone through the whole of Europe.
Either way, with Levy heading down a slippery slope, the last thing he needs is those who he used to employ aiming jabs at him because it’s only damaging his already severely hit reputation.
