Cesc Fabregas has said on Twitter that the first goal that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur scored against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League today should not have stood.
The former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder has said that there were two infringements from Tottenham in the build-up to the first goal against Chelsea in the London derby.
Pierre-Emile Højbjerg found the back of the net for Tottenham in the 68th minute.
The midfielder found the target with a wonderful effort from outside the Chelsea box with his right foot.
Fabregas, though, has said that the goal should not have stood.
The Spanish midfielder believes that in the build-up to the goal, Tottenham’s Rodrigo Bentancur committed a foul on Chelsea’s Kai Havertz.

Fabregas has also said that Brazil international forward Richarlison was in an offside position when Højbjerg took his shot.
However, if you look at the replays, you will notice that Bentancur did get the ball.
As for Richarlison, the Brazilian did not affect the play, and he did not seem to block the view of Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy either.
