New Arsenal signing Shkodran Mustafi has warned their rivals that fellow recruit Lucas Perez is uncomfortable to play against, speaking to the club’s official website.
Perez arrived at the Emirates towards the end of the summer transfer window as they activated his release clause at Deportivo La Coruna.
He has been signed to add competition to a Gunners front line that saw both Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott struggle for their best form last season.
It is hoped he can continue the fine form he showed in La Liga last season when he scored 17 goals in 36 games.

And Mustafi has warned their Premier League rivals that his new teammate is very uncomfortable to play against.
“He is uncomfortable to play against. He’s a good striker – he has everything a striker needs,” he told the club’s official website.
“He’s someone you can play well with. He works a lot for the team as well and he creates chances. He’s in the right place at the right time, as he showed last year in La Liga. “I think he’s going to help the team a lot.”

It will certainly be interesting to see how Perez fares at the Emirates this season after his move in the summer.
There have already been suggestions he could end up being their own Jamie Vardy, another player the Gunners targeted this summer.
If Perez can enjoy just half of the success that the England man enjoyed last season, he will prove to be a very smart signing indeed.
