Unai Emery’s Arsenal lost against Liverpool at Anfield in the EFL Cup.

Arsenal central defender Shkodran Mustafi has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Liverpool away from home at Anfield.
Unai Emery’s side lost against Premier League rivals Liverpool in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.
The tie finished 5-5 after normal time, and Jurgen Klopp’s side won the penalty shootout 5-4.
Mustafi was at fault for the Reds’ opening goal and put the ball in the back of the net for the home team, and the Arsenal defender had a generally disappointing game on a personal level.
The 27-year-old Germany international central defender has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the loss, and has also kind of apologised for his role in the defeat.
Stats
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Anfield on Wednesday evening, hosts Liverpool had 66% of the possession, took 15 shots of which six were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
