Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Liverpool have remarkably qualified for the Champions League final after coming from 3-0 down to beat Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate in their semi-final clash.
The Reds were beaten 3-0 in Catalunya last week as Lionel Messi grabbed a superb brace, and given that both Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah were missing through injury, Liverpool’s hopes of a turnaround looked slim.
However, Divock Origi gave the Anfield crowd early hope with a sixth minute finish, turning home from close range after Marc-Andre Ter Stegen had saved Jordan Henderson’s effort.
Georginio Wijnaldum was only introduced at half time for Andrew Robertson, but he had a huge say in the game as he scored from two crosses in a matter of minutes to make it 3-3.
The game needed a hero, and Origi stepped up to the plate with Liverpool’s fourth goal of the night, scoring from a quickly-taken Trent Alexander-Arnold corner after the Barca defence fell asleep.
Barca couldn’t haul themselves back into the game, and in the most unbelievable fashion, Liverpool are back in the Champions League for a second successive season.

Boss Jurgen Klopp has unsurprisingly received huge plaudits for the comeback, and his former club Borussia Dortmund took the time to post a photo of the German alongside the ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ motto.
Ex-Manchester United Shinji Kagawa added his praise for a ‘great game’ by Liverpool, offering praise to Klopp having played for him at Borussia Dortmund.
