West Ham United are reportedly pursuing Shinji Kagawa.

West Ham United are edging towards Premier League safety, and that means that manager David Moyes may be able to start planning for next season – even if his job isn’t secure just yet.
Moyes looks set to stay if he keeps West Ham in the Premier League, and that may just lead to him targeting one of his former players at Manchester United.
The Mirror reported this week that West Ham are pursuing Borussia Dortmund playmaker Shinji Kagawa, with a fee of around £12million rumoured for the Japanese international.
The 29-year-old has notched six goals and three assists for Dortmund this season, but with just 12 league starts to his name, Kagawa looks set to leave Signal Iduna Park for the second time, six years on from his United move.

Kagawa may not have the pace he once had, but he is still a technically gifted playmaker who can ease some of the creative burden on Manuel Lanzini, and a reunion with Moyes would be interesting.
Kagawa played 27 times under Moyes in the 2013-14 campaign, but wasn’t a regular starter, and failed to score a single goal under the Scot in what proved to be his final season at Old Trafford.
Moyes must now find a better way to use Kagawa and get the best out of him if he is serious about bringing him to West Ham, as fans certainly wouldn’t be pleased with the signature of a 29-year-old flop after so many poor signings in recent years.
