Quality footballer

Son is one of the best players in Europe and has established himself as a key figure for Tottenham in recent years.

The 25-year-old attacker, who earns £85,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, scored 12 goals and provided six assists in 27 Premier League starts for Spurs last season.

The former Bayer Leverkusen star scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 23 league starts for the North London outfit during the 2016-17 campaign.

Best Asian footballer?

Son is certainly one of the best Asian footballers in the world, but there are quite a few candidates for ‘The Best’ honour.

Maya Yoshida has been at Southampton since 2012, and the Japan international central defender is an established Premier League footballer.

Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Shinji Kagawa is another candidate, and the former Manchester United star is playing at the World Cup with Japan.
