Tottenham Hotspur boosted their chances of progression in the Premier League International Cup with a 3-3 draw against Benfica today, with winger Shilow Tracey producing an impressive performance.
Tracey, who possesses excellent technique, scored and provided an assist in the enthralling encounter at Hotspur Way, although Tottenham face an anxious wait to discover whether they will make it through to the quarter-finals stage of the competition.

The six group winners will be joined by the two best runners-up in the quarter-finals, and Tottenham, after finishing second in their section, have to wait for the outcome of Bayern Munich’s game against Porto to find out their fate.
Benfica opened the scoring through Joao Felix, but Tracey equalised for Tottenham in the 21st minute.

Just after the interval Benfica restored their lead as Heriberto Tavares found the net, only for Tottenham to respond once more, with Tracey this time turning provider as he set up Jack Roles.
Tottenham took the lead when Anton Walkes scored but there was still time for Benfica, who have been knocked out, to take a point from the game through an effort from Nuno Santos.
