Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are in a commanding position in their Europa League qualifying tie now.

Rangers went in 1-0 up against Progres at Ibrox, but they had been guilty of missing some chances.
Gerrard was eager to see his Rangers side show a greater ruthless streak to put the tie to bed, and Ojo did get on the scoresheet, as the Light Blues picked up a 2-0 win.
However, the new Rangers signing was disappointed not to have hit the back of the net more than once.
“We were one up at half time and the gaffer has told us that he wants us to go and get more goals,” Ojo said.
“Luckily enough I was able to help the team with the second goal, but like I said we were disappointed to not get more goals.”

Gerrard may still not have felt that his Rangers side were clinical enough, as they were guilty of missing a penalty in the second half.
Despite a rather profligate performance, Rangers should still have done enough to progress to the next round of Europa League qualifying.
Rangers take a healthy advantage into the away leg now, and only a huge upset would see Progres knock them out.
Rangers scored their other goal in the contest through Joe Aribo.
