Bayer Leverkusen want to sign Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo as a replacement for Demarai Gray, who is on his way to Everton, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
What’s the story?
Gray is on the verge of joining Liverpool from German club Bayer, according to Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old former Leicester City winger will reportedly undergo a medical at Everton today.
So, Bayer will need a replacement winger.
The German club’s plan is to sign Ojo from Liverpool, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
The Bundesliga outfit have ‘opened a line of communication’ with the 24-year-old winger’s camp.
Ojo is not in the plans of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool exit imminent?
Ojo is 24 and has made a handful of appearances for the Liverpool first team in his career so far.
The winger has been out on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham and Rangers among other clubs over the years.

The former England international winger was on loan at Cardiff City last season.
Then Cardiff manager Neil Harris described Ojo as a player who has got “unbelievable ability” on the club’s official website in October 2020.
Bayer are a big and respectable club in Germany, and if Ojo has the chance to join them, then he should take it.
It is hard to see Liverpool not sell Ojo if they get a decent transfer fee for him.
