Tim Sherwood has said on Sky Sports News (2:07pm, September 25, 2021) that he does not think that Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette will join Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur manager believes that Arsenal striker Lacazette is too big a player to leave the Gunners for Palace.
90min reported this week that Palace are interested in signing the France international striker.
The 30-year-old striker is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, and no new deal is in place.
Sherwood said on Sky Sports News (2:07pm, September 25, 2021) when asked about Lacazette potential moving to Palace: “No, I wouldn’t have thought so. Too big a player.
“The pull obviously for foreign players coming to England is London. I think they like that. There’s no getting away from it.”

Unlikely Crystal Palace transfer
Now, Palace are an established club in the Premier League and are based in London.
The Eagles also have Arsenal and France legend Patrick Vieira as their manager now.
However, it is unlikely that Lacazette – who earns £180,000 per week as salary, according to The Mirror – will leave for Palace.
The Eagles are not going to challenge for the European places in the Premier League anytime soon.
Lacazette would have no problem in finding a top club in mainland Europe if indeed he does not sign a new contract with Arsenal and leaves on a free transfer next summer.
