Tim Sherwood has told the Daily Express that he thinks that former Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Jack Grealish is now worth £170 million.
Tottenham made a £25 million bid for Grealish just two years ago (Sky Sports), but they failed to get a deal over the line, with Aston Villa demanding a higher price for their prized talent.
Grealish has since gone on to play a starring role in helping Villa back into the Premier League, and he has now gone on to seriously impress in the top flight this term.
Grealish’s performance for Villa last night was a major reason why they were able to beat Tottenham’s rivals, Arsenal, 1-0 and move out of the relegation zone.
And Sherwood feels that Grealish’s value has risen hugely, which makes Tottenham’s bid look derisory now.
“I’ll tell you a club not too far away from them tonight – Arsenal – who could have done with Jack Grealish tonight,” Sherwood said.
“He’s not boring, he’s dropped the shoulder, takes it to the opposition, he sees the pass, he creates a melle and releases the ball.

“I didn’t see any Arsenal players doing that.
“Arsenal paid £70million for Nicolas Pepe, if he’s worth £70million, then Jack Grealish is £170million. He makes things happen.”
Grealish has continued to be linked with Tottenham ever since they made a bid two years ago, but he may just be out of Jose Mourinho’s side’s price-range now.
Villa are likely to demand a huge sum for their star man, especially if they are able to retain their Premier League status.
Villa’s win last night has lifted them out of the drop zone, with Dean Smith’s side needing to beat West Ham United on the final day of the season to confirm their survival.
