The Newcastle United youngster had been in impressive form for Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday’s on-loan Newcastle United winger, Rolando Aarons, has told Instagram followers that he’s suffered a “minor setback” in his quest for fitness.
Aarons hasn’t appeared for Wednesday since before the international break, after suffering an ankle injury in the pre-Stoke City warm-up.
Speaking via his side’s official Facebook page earlier (Thursday), the Owls’ boss, Steve Bruce, confirmed that the Newcastle-owned player will miss Friday night’s trip to Norwich City but said he was due to train today.
And clarifying his situation on social media this evening, Aarons wrote: “Minor setback(.) I’ll be back for the last few games”.

The 23-year-old’s absence at Carrow Road means he’ll miss the chance to face his cousin, the Norwich right-back, Max Aarons, for the first time as a professional.
Meanwhile, Rolando’s Newcastle teammate, Achraf Lazaar, could feature for Sheffield Wednesday in Norwich.

Lazaar missed around six weeks with a hamstring problem suffered on just his second Owls start, but returned as a substitute against Nottingham Forest earlier this month.
