Lazaar suffered a hamstring problem in only his second appearance for Sheffield Wednesday on loan from Newcastle United.

Achraf Lazaar has posted an encouraging update on Instagram, after suffering a hamstring problem in only his second appearance for Sheffield Wednesday on loan from Newcastle United.
Lazaar, who impressed on his debut against Swansea City on Saturday, lasted just 36 minutes of Wednesday’s 2-0 win against Brentford on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old was seen holding his left thigh after racing back to stop a Bees attack, and had to be replaced by Dominic Iorfa.
Speaking to the BBC afterwards, Sheffield Wednesday boss Steve Bruce described Lazaar’s injury as a ‘nasty one’, and added that he is likely to miss the next few weeks.
But the Moroccan vowed that, ‘God willing’, he’ll be ‘back soon’.

And he later posted:
Meanwhile, Lazaar’s Newcastle colleague, Rolando Aarons, impressed again for temporary employers Sheffield Wednesday against Brentford.
The 23-year-old registered two assists on his full debut against Swansea, and came close to scoring his first Owls goal three days later.
