Leeds United, Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Southampton have been linked with Keiren Westwood of Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window.

Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic and Premier League club Southampton are also claimed to be interested in the 33-year-old goalkeeper, and Leeds would be wise to make an offer.

Leeds fans have made it clear on Twitter that they want the Republic of Ireland international, as reported on HITC Sport, and club owner Andrea Radrizzani should make it a point to bring him to Elland Road.
Westwood is one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship, and he would be a great mentor to 21-year-old Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Peacock-Farrell could learn a lot from Westwood and improve his game working with the former Sunderland goalkeeper.

The 33-year-old knows the Championship inside out, and he is very reliable between the posts.
True, age will be a concern for some, but goalkeepers tend to become better with age, and Westwood would also add some much-needed leadership when things are not too bright.
