Westwood has been a key player for Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has hit back at a fan who claimed he was ‘injury prone’.
In fairness, the supporter in question was only referring to the two most recent campaigns, in which Westwood has missed 34 of Wednesday’s 107 matches – which is almost 32 per cent – although that tally looks set to rise after the Irishman suffered a setback in his recovery earlier this week.
Nevertheless, Westwood – who arrived at Hillsborough off the back of an injury-hit spell at Sunderland – has defended his overall record for the Owls on Twitter.
He posted:
Westwood is yet to make any of Jos Luhukay’s matchday squads since the Dutchman took charge in January, and the emergence of academy pair Joe Wildsmith and Cameron Dawson since then has prompted some Wednesday supporters to discuss the possibility of selling the 33-year-old – despite his ability and popularity – this summer.

The former Manchester City trainee – who was a rumoured target for Middlesbrough in 2017 – enters the final year of his contract in July.
Should Sheffield Wednesday consider selling Westwood this summer?
